FAB CE - QUASAR task force reaches major milestone in harmonising assessment for ATSEP

January 24, 2020

A major milestone along the path to harmonising assessment for Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) among all seven FAB CE air navigation service providers (ANSPs) was reached in December 2019 with finalising the standardised questionnaire (and the corresponding rules, “QUASAR Terms of Use”) covering all phases and domains of ATSEP Initial Training.

CEO Committee Chair Valerie Hackl confirms FAB CE participation in airspace architecture study activities

Valerie Hackl, Chair of the FAB CE Chief Executive Officer Committee (CEOC) has written to Eurocontrol Director General Eamonn Brennan to outline the actions to be taken by FAB CE air navigation service providers (ANSPs) in support of the Network Manager’s (NM) European Airspace Architecture Study (EAAS) airspace re-configuration programme Transition Plan.

FAB CE states face disruptive variations in traffic demand for 2019

December 18, 2019

Traffic flows during 2019 in the FAB CE area have demonstrated a high degree of volatility, according to Eurocontrol STATFOR (Statistics and Forecast Service) figures, with some States recording annual increases of more than 10% in overflight traffic demand, while others have seen a decline.
