Call for Papers: Research workshop "Predictability and Flexibility"

FAB CE and FABEC are continuing the series of successful annual InterFAB research workshops with a forum in April 2024 dedicated to predictability and flexibility. These both central aspects in ATM are identified in the ICAO Framework as key performance areas determining the quality of the operational service provided to the civil and military airspace users.

FABCE ANSPs move to harmonise U-space plans and procedures

March 2, 2023

FAB CE air navigation service providers (ANSPs) within the UAS traffic management (UTM) Coordination Group (UCG) met in Zagreb at the end of 2022 to discuss harmonised approaches in response to the European Union Regulation establishing U-space areas within the EU, which came into force on January 26, 2023.

FAB CE traffic forecast: summer schedule traffic “will see steep increases over 2019”

According to traffic forecasts provided by the Eurocontrol Network manager, extracted and formatted for the FAB CE region by SloveniaControl, the start of the airlines’ summer season in April this year will see traffic demand exceed 2019 levels for the first time since the pandemic – with a considerable business rebound.
