The EU Performance Review Body has announced the publication of the Union-wide assessment of RP4 performance plans from Member State ANSPs. There were four categories where submisisons were evaluated – Safety, Environment, Capacity and Cost-Efficiency.

As a FAB, our region consistently ranked well in the review of submissions vs the KPA measurements for the evaluation; with 5 out of 6 States receiving a positive recommendation to approve plans for the upcoming five years.

Overall there were 24 performance plans submitted from 28 states and 16 states (57%) received a positive recommendation. An excerpt from the report explains through remarks of the Chairman, the process of evaluation outcomes.

Based on the facts and figures presented by the Member States, the PRB assessed for 16 of these plans that all their targets are consistent with the Union-wide performance targets. In carrying out its assessments, the PRB has taken into consideration the impact of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
