On April 10, Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic (ANS CR) hosted a Social Dialogue Forum. It was the second occasion for ANS CR, during this presidency of the CEOC, to host such an event with the first one in November 2024.
The opening words from the ANS CR Executive Director of Operations Unit Mr. Petr Fajtl were followed by a fruitful discussion on a wide-range of social issues which the FAB CE region is facing.
One of the key topics which echoed during the session was dynamic cross-border sectorisation. A special task-force under the leadership of ANS CR was created to address capacity issues during summer peak days. Both parties perceive the cross-border question with the utmost importance and share a common view of working collaboratively to shape an airspace management system that everybody benefits from.
Equally important subjects presented during the session included operational topics such as FAB CE Operational Performance Monitoring, which was officially launched in December 2024 and continued cooperation in the field of UTM/drones operations domain. Technical discussions were mainly related to GNSS jamming & spoofing, Minimum Operating Network (MON) planning activities and analysis of the FAB CE radar coverage.
We would like to thank all participants and we are already looking forward to the next Social Dialogue Forum which is planned to take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina in following months in occasion of its CEOC presidency.
