Austro Control is facing major challenges. The effects of the Corona crisis are just as much a part of this as the ongoing technological changes. Together, the new management team will now work to tackle these tasks: "Our clear goal is to set up Austro Control in a stable and future-proof manner and to continue our good cooperation on an international level with our FAB partners," said Valerie Hackl and Philipp Piber in an initial statement.
The newly appointed managing director Philipp Piber most recently headed the aviation authority at Austro Control. Valerie Hackl has already been working as managing director at Austro Control since 2019.

Change in Management at HungaroControl A change in management has also taken place at HungaroControl, where László Tóth, a member of the Board of Directors has taken over as acting Chief Executive Officer.
