FAB CE hosts third InterFAB Communications Workshop in Vienna

FAB CE hosted the 3rd InterFAB Communications Workshop, which took place in Vienna in the first week of September.  Participants from FABs all across Europe discussed ways of how to make FABs more accessible to the public.

Interfab presence at this year’s World ATM Congress in Madrid with panels on weather and volatility in air traffic was a success - these issues are significantly affecting air travel in Europe. The panel on adverse weather conditions was the basis for a special issue of Air Traffic Management magazine, which you can find here.

The InterFAB Communications Workshop also discussed topics for the next few years and will mainly focus on the wider image of aviation, after the difficult events of summer 2018, along with fragmentation, with FAB CE playing a significant role in preparing a workshop on the issue in May 2019.
